Asmira Marine has started its business activities in 2002 by carrying out its first fuel supply with 43 years of established group background & experience. Since then, it’s become prominent of supplying 1,000,000 liters at a time both duty free or duty paid with its powerful barge and truck fleet capacity. Over time it brİng in the concept of “marine station” for the first time in Turkey. Asmira Marine has decided to diversify its experience, recognition, and quality-oriented business practices into different branches of yachting by providing services in; charter, refit & repair & look after, chandlery through cooperation synergy with well-known actors of the yachting sector in 2020. In compliance with the experience and service concept that established for many years, Asmira Marine commits itself to upgrade SOP’s through the group vision “To be Local on Every European Coast” and aims at providing outstanding services to more guests at more meeting points.

Job Description

Primarily managing diverse marine operation processes including fuel, chandlery and also supporting refit&repair, charter activities in South Region including; Bodrum, Marmaris, Göcek.

Job Role Summary

Being able to manage all south region operations on behalf of Asmira Marine by leading all level team members compliance with the standards of Asmira quality.

Job Role Responsibilities

Ensure strict adherence to the company’s standard operating procedures’ for all fuel supply, charter, refit&repair and chandlery operations.Find out ways to realize sales targets of related marine operation with company strategies and manners.Contribute towards the achievement of company’s strategic and operational objectivesRun and report on customer feedback on CRM system.Sustain performance controls and monitor supply process.Lead the technical crew during the refit & repair processesEnsure that all marine operations are done in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements.Maintain an efficient and cost-effective team structureLead and motivate staff, holding regular meetings in low and high season.Provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to help manage conflict,
improve team performance and recognize good performance. Ensure SMART objectives and reviews are completed on timeAgree and monitor annual cost and capex budgets. Periodically reviewing and reporting budget realization.Agree, and, maintain necessary stock levels for all elements of the business.Check, confirm and approve invoices within control agreements.Approve and control all purchasing requirements.Ensure compliance with company financial processes and procedures, takingPartner with HR to monitor and manage staff performance using the company performance review guidelines, dealing with issues as requiredPartner with HR during the processes such as recruitment, interview and trainingEnsuring a friendly and helpful attitude is maintained among base personnel and ensures the same is provided to all customers and business partners.Provide customer satisfaction through all marine operations.

Candidate Profile

At least 3 years of work experience in the same or similar field.Adequate understanding of Marine Operations, Yacht Management, Charter and all Refit & Repair related processes & proceduresStrong proven technical experience in a yachting positionStrong operations management experience in the yachting industryStrong Collaboration and Coordination skillsStrong management and leadership skillsAdvanced knowledge in technical and operational issues regarding marine operationsCreative thinking abilities, good stakeholder management with “hand-on”&“can-do” attitudeFocused on customer satisfaction and have a developed solutions competence,Able to work under pressure and long hours through weekdays & weekendsUniversity degree from reputable university,Advanced level of English both writing and speakingAbility to utilize computer software programs such as Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook, reservation systems and/or internet based data centers.Completed military service for male candidatesCertificate of Sailing is a plus.
